Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your week is off to a good start. How am I doing? Oh.. I’m glad you asked. Remember how I wanted to expand my closet?
It started last Saturday and included taking down the drop ceilings in the living room and office. Because of a total miscommunication that I will blame on Mercury Retrograde I now have had to get an electrician involved and there may have to be some rewiring in my future.
Le sigh.
The good news is this pile of clothes is now in my dining room so I don’t have to sleep on top of it like the Princess and the Pea. The bad news is renovations have come to a halt until I can figure out the electrical part.
Anyways…
It’s Tarot Tuesday!
Here’s what is in store for us this week.
(look, I know that picture is sucky, but because Mercury is in retrograde from February 23–March 17 the servers at work are down too so I can't edit the picture. Geez)
Tarot Outlook for the week of February 25, 2013
The 8 of Swords Reversed
The Tower Reversed
5 of Pentacles
Hey, the 8 of Swords is back this week! Looks like we are still trying to let go of the fear of the unknown. I know these rings true for me especially with the renovations happening. I want a new space but I am so resistant to the steps it takes to make these things happen even though I put them in motion. We all need to take a deep breath and let the change happen.
The Reversed Tower card comes in and reiterates what the fear is: Change. It’s not as though this is an unseen force coming in and knocking us over. We see the change that’s coming, and probably asked for it. Now it’s here and we have to let it happen.
The last card is 5 of Pentacles. Is this change leading to some kind of insecurity or financial trouble? I know that miscommunication with this renovation may lead to me putting more money into this project than I wanted to. The 5 of Pentacles also reassures us that this is not the end. There is always a solution to our problem.
Oracle Card: Solar Plexus Chakra
Don’t beat yourself up over the circumstances of the week!.. keep your self-esteem up and understand that these temporary obstacles are not permanent fixtures in your life. Keep your head up and persevere.
I hope this reading gave you some insight to the week ahead. Let me know if it rings as true for you as it did for me.
** Just when I was going to paste this post onto the blog, Notes for the Universe dropped this in my mailbox:
Of course there's an easier way to get things done, Lanell!
Let me do them. If you know what I mean. Love, love - The Universe |
The Universe is a funny monkey..
